How to find motivation for reading a book that I need to read but not feel like it.

First off: sorry about the grammar and other mistakes. Not my first language

I can’t find motivation to read this months book of my book club. We have a rule where each member choose the book in order. We dont vote, we just choose a book that the one in turn wants to read and the rest hasnt read either. That is it. We also, ask for triggers but none of us has any mayor one.

I’m a fast reader. I could finish this book in two days tops if it had been able to trap me but I just cant find any motivation to read it. This are my friends. I wanna read the book and chat with them, but I have 4 days to finish a 448 pages book. I’m a mood reader and the book is in the wrong genre (I’m craving more sci-fi or fantasy than thriller)

So if you have read Into the Water by Paula Hawkins and liked it please hype me. I really need to find motivation. And if you are in my book club dont hate me. I believe I’m the issue not the book.
