    Hey!

I apologize if I shouldn’t be asking for a suggestion this way, but I decided to gift this girl at my office a book for my birthday, and I do like her.

She has a collection of Greek philosophy books, likes to read on Plato, Marcus Aurelius, or the way she describes it: ‘I like to read their books/letters and disagree. It’s like I am gossiping when I’m reading the book.’ And she likes this book Masks by Fumiko Enchi, and Free Will by Sam Harris.

I’ve read most of the books she likes but I can’t decide on any good books she will really like reading. She has a tendency to not read very thick books.

I thought of a few books, to name a few: I Am a Cat, One of Us Is Next, Who They Were.

But I think they’re not good enough. I would appreciate it to the moon and back if anyone can help me with this, or maybe I’m just overthinking it too much.

Edit: she once mentioned how she likes people who know they are bad (we were talking about the Masks by Fumiko.

Edit 2: I was really thinking of a book that would leave her with a feeling that’s hard to replicate like I remember a neighbor gave me “No longer human” and to this day I really believe I’ve never read another book that just took my breath way.
I couldn’t stop thinking about that book for literally weeks.
