I’m telling you, *Charlie* gets me so much. I read it on the **PERFECT** timing, between adolescence and adulthood.
This book felt like a warm hug, I felt “seen”, thank you Charlie, I’ll try to participate more in life.
“He’s a wallflower.”
“You see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand.”
“I didn’t know that other people thought things about me. I didn’t know that they looked.”
“…but it’s like you’re not even there sometimes. It’s great that you can listen and be a shoulder to someone, but what about when someone doesn’t need a shoulder. What if they need the arms or something like that? You can’t just sit there and put everybody’s lives ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You just can’t. You have to do things.”
Also the way is written made me feel like I was Charlie’s friend and he was actually talking to me! Is amazing, I’d recommend it 1000000 times.
