Usually a reader of the dense/difficult but I’m pregnant and exhausted and can’t handle anything too grim at the moment. (Looking at you stack of unread Virginia Woolf I got for a steal pre-pregnancy) A Confederacy of Dunces hit this perfect middle ground of being really funny, easy to read, and enjoyable while also including interesting social commentary and satirical insights. Looking for something fun to read that’s also interesting and engaging. Open to a wide interpretation of the brief. Thanks!

    1. 1. Check out “All My Friends are Superheroes” by Andrew Kaufman. It’s a quirky novel about a group of misfits who form a superhero team in the middle of a superhero-obsessed city. It’s funny, heartwarming, and full of interesting social commentary.
      2. “Lamb” by Christopher Moore is a hilarious and heartwarming story about Biff, a shepherd who discovers a talking lamb with magical powers. Along the way, Biff learns about the importance of family, friendship, and love.
      3. Eternal Gods Die Too Soon by Beka Modrekiladze is a thought-provoking novel that explores the nature of reality, time, and existence. It’s a deeply philosophical book, but it’s also a compelling and engaging read.
