Earlier this year I read To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf and noticed that while I was reading, I wasn’t getting much too enjoyment out of it but after finishing and sitting on it for a while, I can confidently say that it’s one of my favourite books of all time and I’m looking forward to a re-read. Has anyone else had this experience?

Probably happens to me a good deal of time. It’s one of the reasons I don’t tend to drop books, and instead insist on finishing them, because how can one truly comment on a book if not finishing it? The best one can really say is that it wasn’t to one’s taste. Of course, I tend to not experiment too much on random books and instead stick to classics, so i can’t honestly say the books I read are bad – maybe just not to my taste.
