I recently read “The People’s History of the Vampiric Uprising,” and I fell in love with the format of it. Each chapter basically follows a certain point of time (Ex: 12 months after ___). Is there any other book with this kind of format? I’m a big fan of sci-fi, but any genre would be great!

A long read, but The Source is a historical fiction work with a similar structure, describing what life was like in different eras in the same spot of land.
World War Z. Nothing like the movie, and really a great book. Terrific as an audiobook as well.
The Years of Rice and Salt is also good, but maybe a bit less accessible.
Online alternate history has plenty of stories to read. Start by looking for an [awarded story](https://www.alternatehistory.com/wiki/doku.php?id=alternate_history:turtledove_awards) that sounds interesting, or with [The Limpid Stream](https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/tliad-the-limpid-stream.311414/)
River if Teeth by Sarah Gailey. Takes into account what would have happened if hippos had been sent to the US as a meat source and replaced horses for riding.
