I’m looking for humorous witchy books, but I’m going to have to get really specific.
**They must be:**
1) **Contemporary**. Not set in the past or future.
2) **Down-to-earth in style**. Nothing lyrical or ornate (like Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen or Chocolat by Joanne Harris – great books, both of them, but not what I’m looking for).
3) **Actually funny**. Not just “wry” or “satirical” or “gentle” humor, but will actually make you laugh out loud every once in a while.
4) **Not a paranormal romance**. Can have a romance in it, but that shouldn’t be the main plot.
5) **Not a mystery**. Can have mysterious elements in it, but it should not be a whodunnit.
So, whatcha got? Hit me with your funny contemporary witchy books that aren’t too fancy, entirely romance, or entirely a cozy mystery.

Have you read Slouch Witch by Helen Harper? There is some romance and some mystery type stuff but mostly it’s just fun.
Have you read the witch books in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld? It’s fantasy, so not exactly contemporary? Equal Rites is the first.
