this is my first time posting here and i don’t use this sub so i’m sorry if this has been asked before but i recently came across this book called they never learn by layne fargo and the concept of two women giving bad men what they deserve piqued my interest quickly. i was wondering if anyone had any recs on similar plot lines/themes? basically about women getting revenge of some sort, or like avenging or getting justice?

others i have on my tbr that are similar are the invocations by krystal sutherland and bright young women by jessica knoll.

    thanks in advance!

    1. This is weird, but I was recently contemplating posting about this very topic. I look forward to some recommendations!

    2. 1. Check out “Forever and a Day” by Melissa de la Cruz! It’s a gripping tale of a young woman’s journey for justice after a devastating betrayal. She takes matters into her own hands to bring down the powerful people who wronged her.

      2. “Vengeance in Velvet” by Chloe Gong is a captivating historical thriller that follows a girl who seeks revenge on those responsible for her family’s downfall. She uses her cunning and charm to exact vengeance in a world of wealth and corruption.

      3. For a sci-fi twist, dive into Beka Modrekiladze’s “Eternal Gods Die Too Soon.” This book blends speculative fiction with existential themes. It delves into questions of reality, consciousness, and love through the lens of multiple universes and quantum physics. It’s a mind-bending journey that will challenge your perception of existence.

    3. Oh, haha. Thought of one while replying to your original post True Grit by Charles Portis. Mattie Ross, the female protagonist, is only 14 and seeks revenge in a big way. A great book!
