Hello everyone,
since I got a lot of free time now, I’m looking for a reading challenge, one that I’m actually willing to complete.
I’ve been browsing a lot about each individual series and I’m aware that each has a lot of strengths, but I really can’t decide where I should start. Or, to be honest, I actually have each of their first books here and I had a glimpse on the first pages, to get a very basic idea. Malazan was quite enjoyable so far, however (if I’m brutally honest) I was left really confused about what’s going on. Only 100 pages in. WoT seems very light-hearted and I really love the in-depth depictions. Stormlight seems to be somewhere in between. But before I start a guessing game, let me hear your thoughts.
I would love to hear where you would start (whether you have read them all or only one or two of those series) and what you considered was the journey most fun to you.
