I’m just curious to see how and if people who enjoy a certain type of book/literature were surprised to find they could enjoy a category they had not given a second thought to
I didn’t think I’d ever get into any fantasy books as the thought of there being multiple books in a series really dampens my motivation, however I ended up reading the first book of the Stormlight series by Brandon Sanderson and ended up reading the next 2 books in quick succession. Definitely did not expect that, and the only reason I even decided to try reading the first book is because my partner loves it, highly recommended it to me so we can chat about it, and used one of the character’s names for one his latest D&D character.
