Just want to start by saying I am not a good reader, my mind wanders unless a book really grabs me. The only two books that I’ve found easy to read and love are ‘Wool’ and ‘The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet’.
I don’t cope well with loads of characters, or books that jump around too much in time (got a bit lost in the second and third books in the Wool trilogy).
Just started Colour of Magic and can’t comprehend what’s going on after around 30 pages or so and have had to give up with it.
I like sci-Fi, fantasy and post apocalyptic themes, well described characters and linear storylines.
Hope this is enough information and really excited to find another book to love!

I perhaps love book 2 of the wayfarer series after The long way to a small angry planet even more: A closed and common orbit
Becky chambers has also written a really good novella duology, Monk and robot
