How do you readers usually find discussions/conversations about a book you just read? The ones I find are always outdated and the conversations already happened while ago that makes it hard to engage. Goodreads I find a lot of discussions but for most books, that are not new or best seller, it seems like an empty room. Any recommendation? And is it me sometimes wanting to discuss a page or idea in a book I’m reading? Or its what anybody else experienced too?

Totally got it! Finding live book chats can be tough. Try online book clubs, social media hashtags, local events, or start your own convo. Loads of folks feel the itch to discuss a cool book or idea. Go ahead, dive in, and chat it up! 📚💬

    2. Interesting question. I think you just have to do what we do for video games of any age; just start a new discussion with something that will spur readers to respond. Not just like, “Just finished _______. Thoughts?” But something substantial that transcends the interceding time between when the book was popular and now; how it relates to current events or any other conversation-generating ideas you may have about it. As someone who play older video games a lot and likes to discuss them as if they’re new or still worth talking about I need to come up with a good enough prompt to get the conversation going. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it.
