Hi, does anyone have any suggestions on **world literature** books on racial passing? Preferably centred around East/South Asians?
Books I have read: Passing by Nella Larsen, The Vanishing Half by Britt Bennett (American), Playing in the Light by Zoe Wicomb (South Africa).

There is black like me by Richard Wright
Also Trevor Noah’s book is very interesting
_The Buddha of Suburbia_ by Hanif Kureishi
I’ve only recently added this book to my TBR, so I have no current thoughts on it. It does match your description as far as I’m aware: it follows a disillusioned young man, of mixed Anglo-Indian and English descent, as he navigates his racial and cultural identity in 1970s London. It’s supposed to be satire, so I’d expect witty prose.
