Hi all!
Looking for some book recommendations. I’ve read a lot of non fiction financial and self development books. But looking to branch out into some other types of reading.
I’m currently reading The Inheritance Games series, which is okay. I heard “Knives Out” and was sold, but it seems targeted at a much younger audience.
I currently have in my TBR:
Cultish by Amanda Montell
Killers of the Flower Moon by David Gramm
But looking for a good intro to sci-fi/fantasy to put between them.
I loved GoT, but fear picking up A Song of Ice and Fire because he’s never gonna finish lol.
Thanks!

How about Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson?
the sandman by neil gaiman
So many ways to go.
Sandman Slim
Assassin’s Apprentice
Children of Time – if you don’t have arachnophobia
Rivers of London
Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse Series)
The Blade Itself
A Systems Red
All have their followings, I have read and enjoyed them all, so it kind of comes down to what sounds good to you.
Good Luck.
If you’d like a great sci-fI series I recommend Wool by Hugh Howey. It’s a trilogy (shift and dust are the second and third book) and they’re fast reads. It’s my favorite dystopian sci-fi and they’re filming season 2 of the show (Silo) right now. First season was amazing.
The darth bane trilogy is great even if your not into Star Wars and will never read a Star Wars book again.you also don’t need to know anything about Star Wars to read them. Personally I think they are far better than the movies with a far better main character that you are behind 100% of the time. They ar set 1000yrs before the movies. They are very good books I’d stay they’re for a 17-35yo . But honestly I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t enjoy them please give them a try!
