    Hi all!

Looking for some book recommendations. I’ve read a lot of non fiction financial and self development books. But looking to branch out into some other types of reading.

I’m currently reading The Inheritance Games series, which is okay. I heard “Knives Out” and was sold, but it seems targeted at a much younger audience.

I currently have in my TBR:

    Cultish by Amanda Montell
Killers of the Flower Moon by David Gramm

But looking for a good intro to sci-fi/fantasy to put between them.

I loved GoT, but fear picking up A Song of Ice and Fire because he’s never gonna finish lol.

    Thanks!

    1. So many ways to go.

      Sandman Slim

      Assassin’s Apprentice

Children of Time – if you don’t have arachnophobia

      Rivers of London

      Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse Series)

      The Blade Itself

      A Systems Red

All have their followings, I have read and enjoyed them all, so it kind of comes down to what sounds good to you.

      Good Luck.

    2. If you’d like a great sci-fI series I recommend Wool by Hugh Howey. It’s a trilogy (shift and dust are the second and third book) and they’re fast reads. It’s my favorite dystopian sci-fi and they’re filming season 2 of the show (Silo) right now. First season was amazing.

    3. The darth bane trilogy is great even if your not into Star Wars and will never read a Star Wars book again.you also don’t need to know anything about Star Wars to read them. Personally I think they are far better than the movies with a far better main character that you are behind 100% of the time. They ar set 1000yrs before the movies. They are very good books I’d stay they’re for a 17-35yo . But honestly I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t enjoy them please give them a try!
