Let me start this off by saying that most of the people that I know, that read, are females. Most of the women in my life read. I have great discussions with them as readers and I couldn’t be happier. One of the only men I know that reads is my father, we read many of the same authors and really enjoy books together about espionage and war. However, it is so hard to find an actual community of male readers that are into the same topics/authors. Do other guys just not read? Are they embarrassed ? I don’t understand. So I guess the point of this post is to ask are other men having trouble finding communities of men who read. Are there any places that people might know about that will help me find these said communities?

I know what you mean. Almost none of my male friends read. My dad and Grandfather do though.
