hi, i’m currently taking a class on crime literature. for one of my assignments i need to to pick a crime novel set in the US South since the class focuses on Southern crime fiction. the main caveat is that it can not be from the following authors as we already are covering them:
* attica locke
* william faulkner
* ace atkins
* s.a. cosby
* mesha maren
* john macdonald
im open to whodunnit? and maybe novels focusing on a heist of sorts. while not a dealbreakers i wouldn’t mind novels focus on the asian-american (or just the child of immigrants) identity, but if you have a good one you really like go ahead and suggest it.
