    I have a pattern of picking something up, rapidly progressing in ability with that thing, and then dropping it completely. It’s starting to have a big negative impact on my life and I’d love to find some books to read to help me address it.

    It’s starting to really affect my life and is something that when described to therapists or certain online spaces, is often touted as a super power when properly “harnessed”. I’d like to find a book that talks specifically about utilizing a quality like this and I feel like there has to be something.

    For example, on the bright side, I got obsessed with flying and put myself through my PPL. On the down side I have flown maybe five times in the last four years. On the bright side, I got to five figures a month on Onlyfans in the first couple months, starting from zero on all socials. On the down side, I’ve made less than my basic bills (they’re VERY low) for the last two months and can’t figure out how to reignite my previously very impressive ability online. I don’t CARE to be good at something once I hit the point when it’s boring, and that’s such an unhealthy quality if left unchecked.

    For me it’s good for some fun skills and stories, but at the end of the day it doesn’t have much in the way of stability and now I’m just broke and treading water with a bunch of “useless” skills under my belt and no desire to use them. Help 😭

    Ps. Also seeking any other books on managing adhd, preferably for women.
