Looking for fantasy series written similarly to Tolkien’s work.

Tolkien has a way with words, in part because of the era he wrote in and in part his knowledge and experience of language. I’ve heard that some more modern fantasy book series have a much different style of writing, more modern and fitting with our real world instead of fitting in with the fictional world.

The story itself doesn’t need to be like LOTR, but I would like a similarly high quality level of world building. They would also need to be on audible, as I consume my books that way while I’m at work.
