Historical Fiction Set Outside the United States / Europe

Hello! As the subject line says, looking for some historical fiction reads that preferably aren’t set in the United States or Europe. If it helps, some books that I’ve really enjoyed in the past are Min Jin Lee’s *Pachinko*, Amitov Ghosh’s *Ibis* trilogy, and Lisa See’s *The Island of Sea Women* (though admittedly I have had trouble getting into See’s other works). Also, as a quick note – *Shogun* is already on my to-read list (and this is another one I started but had trouble getting into, but plan on giving it another shot soon).
