Hey all, as the title says, visiting Japan with my husband in April. The 14-hour flight is a bit daunting, I’ll sleep but I’ll also need something to entertain myself. I’m a big reader but looking specifically for suggestions of books you can really immerse yourself in and helps pass the time.
Recent Reads I Enjoyed;
Maybe Next Time – Cesca Major (wasn’t amazing but I do love anything time travel/Groundhog Day themed)
Demon Copperhead – Barbara Kingsolver
(amazing and sad but loved it)
The House in the Cerulean Sea – TJ Klune
When In Rome: Sarah Adams
Beartown Trilogy – Fredrick Bakman
The Housemaid – Frieda McFadden
Anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Homegoing – Yaa Gyasi
I’m also not afraid to get out of my comfort zone but will admit I’m exhausted by how many books are WWII stories.
Thanks!
