Do writers like Elmore Leonard and George Higgins still exist these days?

[This is not a book suggestion thread. This is a discussion on current writers]

I’m a big fan of the above mentioned authors and wondering if there are any current writers who would be similar to them and their style. Sort of more character driven crime novels that speak from the everyone man or criminal point of view, and not always from a law enforcement character POV either.

I have found Dennis Lehane and reckon he is a bit similar but wondering if there was anyone else like Leonard or Higgins or are authors more focusing on the whodunnit aspect of crime novels these days?
