A Long petal of the Sea by Elizabeth Allende
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Wild Swans by Jung Chang (I know this is non fiction)
Historical fiction spanning generations of family members especially if there are real non fiction historical world events shaping the characters lives. I like female narrators but not 100% necessary , I just want an interesting read that makes me reflect and I am invested in the characters , thanks !
