I’m challenging myself to read 13 horror/thriller books in the month of October. I decided to do this challenge just a few days ago, so I’m looking for some short/speedy reads (<250 pages-ish).
I’m also looking for books when I need a break from the spooky, so some cozy/witchy fall vibes book recommendations are welcome.
My favorite horror and thrillers take place primarily during normal life. I also enjoy ones that have some humor. The Vegetarian by Han Kang, Boy Parts by Eliza Clark, Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. Some other favorite reads are A Short Stay In Hell by Steven L. Peck, Uzumaki by Junji Ito, Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg.
Happy October ☺️🎃🍂 🔮
