Hey everyone, I want to start reading more and I’ve been hoping to find something but I just can’t narrow down anything I am certain on when I go to the book store..
As a kid I loved the Percy Jackson series and followed up with most of the Rick Riordan series. I also really enjoyed Fahrenheit 451 in highschool and was hoping to see what kind of recommendation you may make? I know it’s really vague still but I know for sure I’m not really interested in Historical or Self help books, looking more into the Fantastic, Sci-Fi, fiction area. Feel free to leave me questions because I just am kind of trying to figure it out too..

Have you read Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson?
Hard to beat Stephen king. He’s sold millions upon millions of books, and the movies adapted from his works have made billions, for good reason. He’s a great storyteller but also an accessible writer. His vocabulary isn’t too simple yet also not too abstruse. His books are pageturners with depth. His son Joe Hill is pretty good too.
I could recommend you a book but if i were you, just pick whatever book has the premise you find most interesting. The Stand is what hooked me but that books 1000+ pages so a major commitment.
