Im in a mom trail running group that also has a book club. We just finished reading The Push by Ashley Audrain which was great but very heavy. It really should come with trigger warnings. Our current theme is “modern parenting: How can we best approach raising the next generation of humans? Special considerations: social justice, social media, and a changing climate.”

Our picks have been heavy lately, so I’d like to bring some suggestions for lighter books. We read Blackcake (which might fit our theme if we hadn’t read it already; the group liked it) last summer then did a series about the female body and read Good For a Girl, Carrie Soto is Back, The Island of Sea Women, and Running While Black.

Some suggestions I’ve seen that might work:
    – Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner
    – Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder

Either fiction or nonfiction are fine! Anyone have other books to add to my list to suggest? Thank you so much!
