1. What was the thing in Crozier’s cabin with the 3 inch long teeth? I get that the hatch was sealed to keep that thing down there, but what the actual hell is it? And why was it wearing Crozier’s stuff unless that just happened to be the nicest stuff around as Crozier was captain?
2. This was neither Crozier nor Franklin’s first arctic expedition. They were aware of the Inuits and had had them as guides etc. So why were the ship crew dressed so…ignorantly, for lack of a better word? Did nobody ever try to barter for the sealskin suits the Inuits were wearing? Or at least figure out a better alternative to 30 pounds of wool?
