Hi i’m not sure how much to write but i need help. next academic school year for my english a level i need to compare a fiction book to a non-fiction piece of literature. i either want my literature book to be either “The goldfinch” or “The Perks of being a Wallflower”. Does anyone know of any memoirs, autobiographies, etc, that I could compare either of these too? Thanks.

Girl, Interrupted would be great to compare to The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It is one woman’s memoir of her time in a psychiatric hospital.
