I’m looking for a book that takes place in a fantasy world, and I want that world to have a detailed/rich system of government or politics.
I’m talking kings, dukes, barons, etc. And/or theocratic systems (Archdeacons, clerics, etc.)
If it helps I tend to prefer books from a single characters point of of view, maybe 2, but I don’t like 3rd person grand-scale focus as much. (Just finished Mistborn 1-3 and LOVED it, for instance).
Bonus points for a good audio book, as I like to read and listen as I work through a book.
