I want to read a book that’s a fantasy story that’s set in medieval-esc times. Magic, court wizards, some weird witch chilling in a hut, all of that fun stuff. I don’t care if its meant for a younger audience, and I don’t really care that much about historical accuracy.
I’ve read ASOIAF and it was good but a lot of the parts made me feel…icky? (mostly about how much is written about Dany’s…private life. and how creepy(not sure if that’s the right word) it is to the women/girls) Overall I really liked it, just every now and then there would be a scene that made go ‘oh wow that’s really uncomfortable’. So a medieval fantasy that isn’t creepy towards the women in it? Sorry if that really narrows it down.
