Just finished the first book – A Shadow of What Was Lost. The cover had a review that said “Love the Wheel of Time? This is about to become you new favorite series.” I do love the Wheel of Time, but I finished the first book and was not really into it. The characters don’t seem that interesting and the writing is just OK. My question – does it get better? Should I push on to the second book or if I don’t like the first, I am probably not going to like the rest of the series?
