Suggest me books where the MC or ML works in finance or as an accountant or something similar.
I read in post that people who work in finance are boring af and have absolutely zero game. And thus they don’t partake in any romantic shenanigans that can be written for them. Quite frankly I haven’t seen any MC that works in finance or as an accountant in any books yet.
Hence the weirdly specific request.
All recs are welcome.
Hard No’s: step-sibling/any step-romance, incest, mighty age gaps- 10 is alright, 15 is ‘well’, 20 or above is pushing it.

I’m not a hundred percent sure but I believe the ML in The Bride Test by Helen Hoang is in finance and in the Rosie Project by Don Tillman although the ML is in genetics but definitely a numbers person.
Both of these have mainleads don’t really have game though since they are on the spectrum so 🤷.
Also a book I read a long time (10+ years) ago, Tall Tales and Wedding Veils by Jane Graves has a FL who’s an accountant. I remember enjoying it when I read it but not sure if it holds up.
