Help with a Los Angeles eLibrary card? Reading is my escape, when everything gets too overwhelming and nothing else is helping reading/ audiobooks listening does. I’m waiting to get an e-card from The LA Public Library.
It is an e-card, ONLY for digital content, only the library mails a paper to the LA address that must be signed for address verification.
Or is there anyone who already has a card and is will allow me to use your card number borrow online materials from the LAPublic Library Overdrive site (digital/ e-material)?
Extra info: 1. LA allows for me as an out of state resident for a card but must apply in person. The problem is I live in NC.
2. I’m asking because my library has limited material especially in audio format, unlike LAPL.

Taxpayers only. Sorry.
Have you tried the NC digital library
https://www.nclive.org/welcome
This will give you Libby access and is connected to most of the state.
Why LA specifically? If you want a well stocked library Houston public library (or was it Harris county? One of them) issues out of state cards for $40 a year that dose not require an in person visit to acquire. There are other libraries, both cheaper and more expensive, but I can never seem to remember them off the top of my head like my home state libraries
