Life has never been a bed of roses for me (and I’m sure never is for anyone). But past 3 years have been particularly mean. I used to be a voracious reader. But now I have short attention span, and with many things going I don’t spend much time reading. Suggest me books with tough life, but happy endings. Hardship, hard work but winning. Love and hope.
I am not interested in YA and Romance.

The Space Adventures of Commander Laine.
There’s plenty of good examples others might provide, but weirdly, my first thought when reading you post was “Anywhere But Here” by Mona Simpson. Not YA or romance, but maybe a bit cheesy. (They also made a movie with Natalie Portman. Not a blockbuster, but it might also give you that inspiration you’re looking for).
