Hello! Does anyone have a good book which also contains facts or information not necessarily commonly known? I recently read the book Untwined by Edwidge Danticat and I loved the realistic fiction plot. However I even more loved how it contained phrases in French which I learned, as well as the specific classical music reference to a piece (both were significant to the plot)
I never find that the description of a book like this contains a dual value of learning something like the French phrases and facts (in the case of Untwined) on the actual book; so books like this are fairly hard that I come across when I’m just staring at the backs of books in the library.
So, for those of you who like fiction stories as well as learning new things, what books would you recommend?
