I wonder if this has been ever done. In the way that, for example, the hidden message would be TRUE LOVE, and for that, the chapters would start with words/sentences corresponding to the letter:
Ch. 1: The day has finally arrived when Ryan could mess with his friend for the first time.
Ch. 2: Ryan never wanted to do any of what she wanted.
Ch. 3: Using that machine was the worst idea, he thought.
Ch. 4: Emily and Ryan went to that beach, hand in hand.
…
Etc. The first letter of the first sentences in the chapters. I wonder if this is something any book has ever done, or not done for a good reason. I wonder what you think of this idea. If the hidden word would not mean anything that would spoil the story, of course.
