Please suggest a good audiobook w/ strong female protagonist for 16 year old
My 16 year old niece will be working for me this summer. I want to find an audiobook we can listen to, together, while we do manual labor featuring a strong/inspiring female lead.
I’m not sure what level or content style you are looking for, but maybe The Jasmine Throne. It’s a duology so should get you through the whole summer.
Virtual-Two3405 on
Clap When You Land or The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo – they’re written in free verse so it’s pleasing to listen to as well as being good stories with interesting characters. The author is also a slam poet and does the reading for the audio books, so you hear exactly how she imagined it as she was writing.

How about [An Absolutely Remarkable Thing](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/5f578bd9-d021-4264-affa-66646cc6c979) by Hank Green or [The Goose Girl](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/daf9b2a4-a293-4523-bbe1-de00c97502ee) by Shannon Hale?
And if you’re open to middle grade, I’m a big fan of the audiobook of [Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/51da4742-ca09-4638-9c93-f13440bff12b) by Jessica Townsend!
