I need to recommend 2 books for my reading club, and it turned out that most books are around 350 pages. We need something longer.

Personally, I love romance, detective, or thriller books, but genre doesn’t matter.

    1. The physical edition of Another by Ayatsuji Yukito is around 500 pages long. It’s a horror mystery.

My edition of Battle Royale by Koushun Takami just passes over 600 pages, but that is due to their being additional material in the back. The story itself ends on page 576.

    2. A good nonfiction read that’s kinda mystery/thriller is Say Nothing, by Patrick Radden Keefe.

He goes to Belfast and interviews a whole bunch of interesting/terrifying people to try to get to the bottom of an unsolved murder during the Troubles. That this book is nonfiction is astounding.

{{The Book That Wouldn’t Burn by Mark Lawrence}} is 576 pages. It’s technically the first in a trilogy, but the second book doesn’t come out until later this spring I think.

    4. The Lonely Polygamist by Brady Udall (602 pages, so good I’ve read it 3 times. Great book for a book club, many talking points)

Small Great THings by Jodi Picoult

The Hate U Give by Angie THomas

What is the What by Dave Eggars

The Grace Year by Kim LIggett

    5. Dissolution by CJ Sansom. Historical mystery.

To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis. Science fiction.

    6. Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson.

We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker.

      Both are thriller-ish speculative fiction.
