I just read The Golem and the Jinni and its sequel The Hidden Place and I can’t stop thinking about it. I loved it so much. I’ve never read a book with such a strong sense of community before and it was one of my favorite parts of the books. I loved seeing all the characters going about their daily lives with their normal human struggles and hardships, and seeing how the community came together to help each other during difficult times. I loved watching the main characters slowly become a part of that community, seeing how it changed them, and seeing all the lives they touched.
