I have been writing and publishing free weekly bedtime stories for over a year and every now and then I get a message from readers and it just absolutely brightens my day every single time.
Here’s a recent gem: “Love your website! My 4 day old daughter is in the NICU and I’m currently reading her your stories. We just read about pumpkin and Lucas, she’s looking forward to part 2 next week. Thank you”
Too sweet for words! I just wanted to encourage you to send through some support to the writers you love, especially if they are small or only just starting! When writing, you can sometimes become pretty disconnected from the actual reading side of things. It’s such an important reminder that your work is actually out there and being read and enjoyed. It’s having an effect! (Hopefully!)
