I’m asking for books along the lines of Issac Newton’s *Principia*, or Adam Smith’s *The Wealth of Nations*. More so the classics and foundations for our basic understanding, as well as the philosophical studies of these topics.

Thank you in advance for any helpful comments and suggestions!

It sounds to me as if you’re actually looking for philosophical works as regards inequitable society? Is that correct?

A good place to start would be Plato’s Republic, Hobbes’ Leviathan, the Federalist papers, Thomas Paine’s the Rights of Man and Common Sense.
