I’m looking for a good book / series set in medieval worlds that do not have dragon / magic / fantasy elements. Also, ideally it’s available from a library app so I can try and read / listen for free with my phone or tablet, (No libraries near me.) any recommendations?

The Mistress of the art of Death series is great. In fact, all Ariana Franklin novels are great.

*The Name of the Rose* by Umberto Eco is, without close competition, the most authentically medieval-set work in centuries.

If you just want works that are set in the middle ages but are by authors who have little to no sense of the time period other than certain outward trappings, try the Brother Cadfael mysteries by Ellis Peters or *The Pillars of the Earth* by Ken Follett.
