Hello. I’ve recently been having trouble reading anything due to my meds not allowing memory or thinking, so I have to reread the same sentence over and over to get any conception of comprehension. Sometimes I’ll get a paragraph, but I soon forget it. I need books that will be kind to me on the memory and pace front. I’m talking the easiest, breeziest books possible. Preferably something with a fantasy bent with a little bit of romance that can be found at a library.
I’ve been reading The Scorch Trials by James Dashner and it’s been going well on the memory front, and I was reading The Midnight Star by Marie Lu a while ago and liked the story, especially that kind of romance. A good fantasy or YA or romance with fantasy in it would be ideal. Short, choppy sentences are actually a boon for me at this point, as well as easily digestible cliches. I can no longer predict or interact with a mystery or slow-paced book or something with a lot of descriptive paragraphs, so I’d really appreciate some easy reads!
Thanks in advance.
