Looking for novels that take place in a sanatorium, decidedly NOT a mental asylum, but rather a place for rest and wellness such as the one featured in The Magic Mountain or From The Land of The Moon.
Preferably more nostalgia and yearning than horror and gore, but can deal with sickness and death.
