Hey there,
I’m looking for “not-at-first-glance-dystopian” dystopian literature… Basically with a not-inherently-evil society/government where people were building an ideal state/society with good intentions which for some reason failed/has problems/behaves morally ambiguous etc. which is not revealed or apparent at the beginning of the book. In other words: not something where everything is dystopian to begin with and it’s only about how to end the reign of evil.
Any ideas?
