There were no stickers on the books, but the entire cover has a kind of sticky or tacky feeling and my fingers feel like they were coated in powder or residue. This is for three out of five books in my order, two are fine.
Once I had a book shipped in an envelope that was entirely adhesive inside, not sure what that was about, but I couldn’t get the residue off that either. It feels very similar.
I’ve tried diluted dish soap, rubbing alcohol, diluted vinegar.
I’m not normally bothered by sensory things, but this is awful, I literally cannot handle touching the books.
Is there anything to get rid of this?
