I’m looking for a story (or stories) that have elements of cozy, wholesome, funny, romantic, seldom tension/drama and lovable characters. Within all that, what I’m REALLY struggling to find is a book that does a great job being descriptive with the cozy and wholesome moments. A popular example I can give is the first book of the series, ACOTAR (yes, I’m aware the other books do this as well but just want to keep it basic). I am not a fan of Sarah J. Maas but I will admit that I looooooove the way she describes these peaceful scenes within the story. It’s like I’m feeling the grass, listening to the music and dancing in the festivals myself. What made me lose interest in the series is that it took a more action pack, “political” turn and that’s just not the type of stories I’m really into. Another example (however a MUCH darker story which is why I dropped it) is A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara (TW: PLEASE don’t read this unless you are just really for a sad and traumatizing story… and even then— Don’t). It was EXTREMELY descriptive in the moments the main character was suffering, so much so that I had to stop reading it because I could really feel the pain and it was just too much for me. But to get back on topic, I want that level of descriptiveness within the parameters I mentioned above. It can be from any genre so long as it fits. And it’s okay if it has some sad and/or emotional elements so long as it’s a “omg I love this character so much” and not a “this is going to put me through a depression spiral” kind of thing. (If you read this far, I appreciate your patience with reading this.)
Please let me know your suggestions, why you’ve made that suggestion, and a synopsis if you’re feeling generous. Thanks!
[TL;DR] Suggest to me a book recommendation that is rich in descriptive writing that captures cozy and wholesome moments with elements of humor, romance, minimal tension/drama, and lovable characters. Sad/Emotional/Heartwarming stories are included.

‘The Notebook’ by Nicholas Sparks is a tale I often suggest for those who believe in the enduring power of love. This story of Noah and Allie’s lifelong romance exemplifies the idea of soulmates and shows that true love can withstand the test of time and memory.
