So ima start off by saying that while i spend 80% of my day reading i don’t really read books (traditional books), I tend to stick to fanfics where i can fix the hollow and painful hole that anime leaves in me.
But my best friend reads a lot of books, though she reads them online (don’t know the specific site). Lately the books she’s been reading have all had a sad or unsatisfying ending and each time it happens she calls me crying and explains the book to me so that i can feel the pain she does lol(love these moments w her). At this point im convinced she might drop reading all together if she doesn’t read something with a happy ending soon lmao.
So i wanted to surprise her with some recommendations that i know will have a happy ending w/o spoiling it for her. Some of the books she’s talked to be about are Heartless by Marissa Meyer & The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent. She really likes that style of books and writing. So if anyone has any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated 😀 !!
