Hello, Have arrived at a new life view recently which states a life worth living is one in which you live in a bubble and do not learn about anything or any cultures outside of that bubble (kinda like how almost everyone in this world currently does their life). So it is a default, de facto and status quo, and I think everyone already knows how difficult and slow change is in humans or society
It’s easier to stay in inertia and not expand
Do you know books or other sources of good info that share this or similar views
Prime reason for arriving at this life view is because you don’t really and truly and honestly care about other people or other people’s cultures so what is the point in learning about all of that for every single cultures there are?
If goal is to learn about all cultures, this goal is impossible to do comprehensively so that’s one reason to have lowered interest over time. If goal was to find interestingness and interesting things, well learning that different things are different gets tiring, and the info about different cultures really isn’t very useful
Aside from these , there are perhaps thousands of other discrete and unique reasons but too tired to think and write all that up right now
