some years ago my aunt gave me this book, one of my first books I’ve read for fun. it’s a good book for an starter becouse doesn’t have a complex pretentious writing.
If i remember, it’s about a black middle aged woman that goes deeper in unexpected secrets and adventures starting from her workplace, a museum. Her adventure follows an unsolved past.
I don’t have the book to look for details, sure you’d do on internet.
I personally recommend the book if you enjoy reading about western history.Starts from a museum , the book advices since first chapters.
*Spoiler Alert*
Personal funny story related to the book:
My aunt gave it to me unexpectedly at the time i was in love with Greek and ww2 books i have, so much i told their stories to my friends in class, like the finger of Stalin , strategy innovations or Zeus’s things. I didn’t have many friends, hence many black friends neither, i was learning German and was noticable i wanted to go to Germany (not for wrong reasons) .
At some point the book goes in greek history and i was like “cool” but further a half of the book gone to nazi things and i thought “noo, my aunt thinks im nazi? AAAAHHHH” , back then some people thought i like nazis or something., not trueeee.

He also writes Tom Delonge’s fiction series starting with *Chasing Shadows* and it is excellent.
