I 20M am trying to get back into reading, I haven’t read since I was a young teen and am a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount available.

I had very basic taste as a teen, I loved the hunger games trilogy and harry potter, I also had an affinity for coming of age books- I remember liking perks of being a wallflower and looking for Alaska. I’m looking for something a bit more adult, or at least the higher end of YA. I am studying psychology and have in interest in mental health, so something with those themes could be cool. I’m not into self help books. I am LGBT but don’t need anything that specifically relates to that. My favourite TV shows are bojack horseman and stranger things if that translates to any book recs.
